Lawton Bury is
a working farm. We have cattle, sheep during the winter, and
grow traditional arable crops such as wheat and barley. We’re
very proud of what we do and you’ll see the fruits of our labour
all around you.
There are a number of walks you can take from the doorstep and
you might enjoy strolling along the banks of the River Arrow,
which runs through the fields a little way from the farmhouse.
(As you can imagine, there’s no shortage of wildlife to enchant
and amuse.)
Hereford, Leominster, Kington and Ludlow are all within easy
reach and Lawton Bury Farm is on the celebrated ‘Black & White
Village Trail’ which celebrates Herefordshire’s rich
architectural heritage in timber-framing.
Cycling and riding are popular pastimes and there are several
golf courses in the vicinity.
No matter what your interest, we will happily point you in the
right direction.
